Denpo-in Teien – Garden

This is the strolling pond garden (池泉廻遊式: Chisen Kaiyu Shiki) and it’s told that the garden of about 12,200 square maters was designed by Enshu Kobori.
Enshu Kobori (小堀遠州) – He was a feudal lord in the early stage of Edo period, but has been very famous as a master of tea ceremony, an architect and a landscape gardener.
