Kamakura Daibutsu (Buddha Statue)

Information : The Buddha statue loved as Kamakura Daibutsu (1243), one of three major buddha statues, is the principal image of Kotoku-in(高徳院) in Hase ( The western area of Kamakura). It made first was wooden but? was collapsed by a rainstorm in 1247. The Hall of the Great Buddha was erected after that but also was collapsed by repeated typhoons(1335 and 1369)? and tsunami (1495) then was never built until now. Therefore this statue has been sitting on a seat outside.
