Overview : The 36 views of Mt.Fuji
The most popular works of Hokusai Katsushika, an eminent Ukiyo-e Artist,(葛飾 北斎| 1760-1849）is Fugaku 36 kei( The 36 views of Mt.Fuji). He drew 46 prints as Fugaku 36. Since first 36 works got popular, 10 works were added. Most prints were drawn in Kanto region. We cannot see Mt.Fuji at most of related places because of tall buildings but we can imagine how one of the world most beautiful moutains , Mt. Fuji was seen at a places. From the titles or descriptions, we have tried to define the locations where Hokusai might draw those works. You can see most of prints on global map.
