Yamagata Castle (山形城)
Information: Yamagata castle also known as Kajo, was originally built by Shiba clan in 1356. Shiba clan changed their name to Mogami and this casle was extended and reconstructed by Yoshimitsu Mogami in 1592 but the main tower was reclaimed during Meiji period(1868-1892). Now some gates have been restored and some parts of this area are opened as Kajo park.
