Nanao Castle

Nanao? Castle (七尾城)

Information: It was located on a ridge of a moutain. Hatakeyama clan mainly owned this castle and they defended for a year from Kenshin Uesugi’s attack. It’s selected as one of the five great mountain castles in Japan.

The main lord of a castle: Mitsunori Hatakeyama / Kenshin Uesugi

Hours : Museum of Nanao ruined castle | 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.? Monday closed
