Erin-ji Teien – Garden

Information : Erin-ji Teien Garden | 恵林寺庭園

Erin-ji erected in 1330 is well known that there is Shingen Takeda’s grave and Takeda clan’s main temple. The strolling pond garden was designed by Soseki Muso.

Muso Soseki : He was a Zen monk living in the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period. He also was known as a landscape gardener who built the garden of Saiho-ji and the Tenryu temple in Kyoto.
