Jiko-in Teien – Garden

Information : Jiko-in Teien | 慈光院庭園

It is a temple erected in 1663 by Sekishu Katagiri who was a father of Iwami sect tea ceremony , and? the whole precincts is designed as one tea-ceremony room. The style of the dry landscape Japanese garden is the mainstream of the Zen sect, but the world in this garden is mainly created by trimming off of trees(Karikomi) .

Hours : 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Closed : The end of the year and new year

Fee : Adult / 1,000 yen (Including tea)
