Osawa no Ike

Osawa pond is the oldest artificial pond in Japan located in the east side of Daikaku-ji. The buildings are arranged around the pond (1km) Moreover, it has been chosen as one of the major three bright moon appreciation grounds, and many people come to see the moon at the time of the full moon, called 中秋の名月(Chushu no Meigetsu) at the end of September or early October.( the date is changed everyyear.)
Hours : 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Fee : To Enter Daikakuji-temple Adult / 500 yen? Only to visit Osawa pond is Free
