Shuri Castle (首里城)

Information : This area (excluding Shuri restored castle) is one of? the world heritage sites as “Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of Ryukyu”. It was the king castle in Ryukyu Dynasty. Many buildings were fully destroyed in the battle of Okinawa (1945) during World war second but the main castle and other sites were reconstructed on the original site in 1992. The place have been inscripted as a world heritage but this restored castle isn’t included.
