Zuisenji Teien – Garden

Information : Zuisenji Teien Garden | 瑞泉寺庭園

Zuisen-ji temple in Kamakura was built in 1327 by Soseki Muso .This strolling pond garden was restored in 1970 and a pond is made in cutting the rock.

Soseki Muso: He was a Zen monk living in the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period. He was known also as a landscape gardener who built the garden of Saiho-ji(西芳寺) and and Tenryu temple(天龍寺) in Kyoto.
