Keta Jinja

Keta Jinja (気多神社)

Information :

Fushiki area used to be the central city of Etchu province and there was Kokubun-ji temple in the area where there is a Keta Jinjya . Before Mutsu province and Etchu province were separated, people visited to Keta Taisha but after the area of that shrine was belonged to Mutsu Province, people living in Etchu needed a shrine. Keta Jinja was founded for that reason during the 6th century.

Nunagawahime no mikoto (奴奈川姫命)
