Information :

As for Motsu-ji temple built 800 years or more ago, the whole contents became clear in the excavation work in 1949. This garden was made based on the oldest garden document “Sakuteiki(作庭記)” in Japan written at the Heian period, and is expressing the paradise. The rockwork which expressed the precipitous cliff centering on the big pond, Suhama expressing the shore are highlight.

Hours : 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (5th Nov – 4th Apr | 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Fee : Adult / 500 yen
