Nihonmatsu Castle

Nihonmatsu Castle (二本松城)

Information: Nihonmatsu castle was built in 1443 by Mitsuyasu Hatakeyama. This castle was belonged to Ujisato Gamo in 1590 and Kagekatsu Uesugi in 1598. During Boshin was (1868-1898), Here was attacked by new government troops then burned down most of the castle sites. The base of the castle tower were restored during 1993-1995.
