Nishi Hongwanji Daishoin Teien
Information : Nishi Hongwanji Daishoin Teien | 本願寺大書院庭園
The garden in Nishi-Hongan-ji Temple is a dry landscape garden that is called the garden of the tiger valley(虎渓の庭). Huge stones are perpendicularly set for expressing the waterfall. Moreover, to express Mt.Lu(盧山) in China, a hall ‘Mikage-do” was built behind the garden.
A reservation in advance is needed.
