Hokongo-in teien and Aome fall – Garden

Information : Hokongo-in Aome fall | 法金剛院青女滝

It was built in 1130 in the early stage of Heian period, and is a Ritsu sect temple belonging to Toshodai-ji Temple designated as a world heritage in Kyoto. The garden is a strolling pond garden of the Jodo expression, and the oldest Japanese artificial waterfall called Aome-taki is the highlight.
